A 21ST CENTURY TAI CHI LEARNERS KIT

  • Reduce stress
  • Gain mental clarity
  • Improve overall health.

The Beginners Guide teaches an easy 10-Step Short Form: Simple, accessible, affordable.

THE 5 LESSONS TO LEARN :

  1. Don't study complex sequences: Instead, focus on quality of movement rather than quantity of postures.
  2. Customise the moves: Adapt each move to fit your own energy, time, and space.
  3. Take your time: Practice when and where, and as slow or as fast as you wish.
  4. Repeat, repeat, repeat: Watch from all angles, as often as necessary.
  5. Clear instructions and learning tools: Use the book alone or tap into the step-by-step online videos, with close-ups, multi-angle views, posture-chart, PDFs and walk-through audio files for a comprehensive Tai Chi learning experience.

Hi, I'm Paul Read. I've taught for decades across different countries, produced online programs, and written many books on the art. I've gathered the best methods for learning and adapting Tai Chi to each person, and now offer them in this unique book with free back-up resources that I call it the Tai Chi Starters Kit.

WHAT IS IN THE TAI CHI STARTERS KIT?

☆ PAPERBACK BOOK: The Beginners Guide to the Tai Chi Form (200+ pages of step-by-step instructions).

☆ SELF-STUDY ONLINE COURSE: Access online video demonstrations and explanations for every step in the book.

☆ BONUS MATERIALS: 3 PDFs, an audio walk-through, and a Movement Guide to support your learning.

👉 What the Starters Kit will teach you:

  1. Understanding of Tai Chi and its benefits
  2. Brief history of Tai Chi Forms.
  3. How Tai Chi reduces stress, improves health, and brings mental clarity.
  4. Easy to learn sequence of 10 fundamental Tai Chi moves.
  5. Tai Chi principles with practical advice from classic texts.
  6. Bonus content: For those eager to extend their Form, the book shows you how to expand your sequence by adding repetitions, transitions, and additional moves.

Easy online learning

I must admit to be very sceptical about this course. I have practised Tai Chi for a couple of years, both in person classes and online during lockdown, however haven't practised for a while. I saw the ad on Facebook and bought the book and I'm glad I did. I've enjoyed working through the lessons in bite size chunks and reading all the background to the moves. I tend to work from the book and then watch the videos before moving on to the next one.
For those new to Tai Chi or those like me with a bit of experience, this is a great course, easy to follow and really good value for money.

Thank you katherine for your review.🙏 I hope the course and book has now kick-started your Tai Chi again and that you will continue your practice. If I can do anything else, please get in touch. Thanks again. Paul

I Love This Book

The Beginner’s Guide is well written and (thankfully, in this age of carelessly published books) well edited. The design is beautiful, too. The most important quality, though, is its gentle manner of communicating how to approach and learn a wonderful art.

Many thanks Stephen for your review and so glad that it's soft suggestions and explanations have been of use to you. So I am happy to know that you have ordered the big Illustrated Workbook, as this takes those fundamental ideas and plays with them in new and interactive ways. And finally, to just to remind you that there are 2 courses to accompany these workbooks whenever you wish to take them up.

Tai chi, nice n simple

Really good concise book covering a ten movement form, I've been studying tai chi for around five years, and Paul has made the basic movements understandable and accessible to anyone, now comes the hard part mastering the movements and improving. Well worth a read.

Excellent!

This book and--I suggest--some of the videos are as close as you're going to get to live one-on-one teaching. The approach is smart, creative and incredibly enjoyable. I've followed Paul's work for years and he keeps to the heart of the practice without any of the unnecessary, exotic coverings. Highly recommended.
